The Lumena Östra Södertörn subproject has been implemented in collaboration between Haninge municipality, Tyresö municipality, Nynäshamn municipality, The Public Employment Service, The Social Insurance Agency and Stockholm region.

At the end of the week conference, we had the opportunity to hear many interesting perspectives from participants, employees, researchers, family members, employers, and partners. Lumena ÖS has reached a target group that is far from the labor market – and has done so with quality, methodological rigor, and respect for the individual.

”It’s easy to talk about methods. It’s more difficult to create the conditions for them to actually be followed.” – Marianne Lundin Lagestam, Head of Department, Labour Market Department Nynäshamn.

The employees carried the project during the meeting with the participants. The managers’ responsibility has been to enable quality, methodological consistency and sustainability throughout.

”What has distinguished Lumena Östra Södertörn is our ability to hold on to quality even when complexity has been at its greatest. Through evidence-based methods, time for relationships, and close collaboration, we have created real steps forward for people who often fall between systems. The fact that 330 participants have received support and that half have gone on to work or study shows that perseverance, coordination, and trust make a difference. – soraya karlsson, Project Manager Lumena Östra Södertörn.

🌷 A conclusion but also a beginning. We look forward to following the continuation in Lumena+!

Thank you all very much!
