Participant inclusion and influence – “Talk to us as if we are human beings“

Many people are currently out of work and out of school, something that is closely linked to several of our biggest societal challenges such as mental health, crime, and social exclusion. Despite this, those affected themselves rarely get to be part of the conversation about solutions.

Social exclusion risks having serious consequences for both society, democracy, and trust in our systems. We want to help break this trend.

🌷Welcome to our results seminar where we discuss participation from several different perspectives and what we can all do to become more inclusive.

We share our experiences of the inclusion work at Lumena. We have tested different forums where people with personal experience of being excluded from work and studies have been able to identify important societal issues and propose solutions that can remove barriers to work and participation.

Participants:
    • Ulla-Karin Schön, professor of social work at Stockholm University
    • Stina Scott, project manager Youth2030 Movement
    • Staffan Bjelle, Nathalie Wass, Noah Hagberg, Ingrid Sörman, Johanna Thagemark, Martina Kopra, participants and employees of Lumena
