"We have a drive in the group and will reach our goals"

"What drives me is to help people and to benefit society. I am stimulated by seeing that people get a job in the long run and can realise their dreams while experiencing the benefit to society," says Tony Danho, sub-project manager in Lumena Samsund, which is located in the municipalities of Sundbyberg, Järfälla and Upplands-Bro.

Tony most recently came from the Swedish Public Employment Service, where he gained broad experience in areas such as "establishment", "employer" and "introduction". Together with five colleagues, he has now started up the project.

"This position appealed to me because I saw that I could bring something to the table. Together with the team, we will achieve the set goals.

In total, 130 people will be supported to move towards work or study. It will go well. The team has a wide experience and great drive, motivation is at a high level.

"We have one representative from the Swedish Public Employment Service, one from Järfälla, one from Upplands-Bro and two from Sundbyberg. Our common vision is to reduce economic vulnerability and facilitate entry or re-entry into the labour market," says Tony.

There is already flexible co-operation with the authorities. Tony sees this as a contributing factor to success.

"We work together. It is together that we develop the work and the methods. The aim is to reduce the number of contact routes to get the right support. People should not be bounced around between authorities."

At the moment, the focus is on the number of participants and developing a strategy to reach the targets.

"Because we know the goals, it's easier to find the way to get there, how to reach them," says Tony.
