1. Can you briefly describe your role as an accompanying researcher in this project?
Together with Ulla-Karin Schön, I have an assignment to investigate the outreach work in Lumena aimed at people who are neither working nor studying.
2. What are the most interesting or unexpected insights you have seen so far in your research?
Like many terms we often use - outreach, prevention, etc. - it is important that we define what is meant by outreach. Who should be reached out to, by whom, in what way and why? These are important questions to ask when planning an outreach activity. It is interesting to see how this has different impacts in a project as large as Lumena.
3. What are the main challenges you have encountered in your role as an accompanying researcher?
We have not really encountered many challenges, except when employees do not see themselves doing any outreach work. But even then, we have had interesting discussions about how the employees in Lumena see accessibility to support and interventions for the individuals they work with.
