Caroline Sellstone, Communications Officer specialising in graphic design

Caroline is a graphic designer and artist living in Hägersten with her husband, children and bonus child. Besides her passion for her job, Caroline creates visual art and pop music.

For many years she has been running a creative agency where illustration and design are at the centre. Since a couple of weeks she also spends part of her week on communication for Luemena and Conecto.

”I applied for the projects because I longed for colleagues working together towards the same goal. The projects are interesting, fun and exciting. I'm looking forward to working for people who need support to enter society. There is a lot of expertise out there that we are not taking advantage of”, says Caroline.

Caroline often works with graphic recording, a method that involves illustrating what happens during meetings.

”It means summarising key messages, ideas, visions and processes in pictures, as they appear in the room.”

The strength of the method is to be able to refine events, meetings and workshops. Being present and creating consensus and commitment in the room.

”I produce illustrations of visions, thoughts and ideas that are visible and tangible to everyone at the same time. It becomes a powerful tool for making a visual summary that can then be used in communication.”

Caroline's strength is creativity and working with images in communicative processes.

”My experience as a creative is broad and I am driven by making images and text interact. People find it easier to absorb messages when they are conveyed with images. I get that feedback when I'm out on assignments. Now we are starting the communication work in Lumena and Conecto, it's great fun”
