Stina Scott

Lecture with Youth 2030 Movement on participatory inclusion.

"It is always adults who decide when they want young people's opinions"

Today's knowledge seminar featured Stina Scott from the Youth 2030 Movement.
Youth 2030 Movement is a movement of democracy activists, young leaders, children's rights campaigners and adult allies working to empower young people in democracy.

Young people want to be involved, to voice their opinions and to be involved in decisions that affect them. At the same time, many young people around the country feel that this is not possible, and there is disappointment with an adult world that repeatedly raises expectations and hopes of listening to young people's voices but then does not deliver.

Youth 2030 is actively working until 2030 to increase young people's influence in democracy and has developed a democratisation model as part of this work.
