Conference on innovative solutions for an inclusive working life - come and join us!

Lumena and Conecto are taking part in a conference on innovative solutions for an inclusive working life. Many interesting speakers will participate, including Nicholas Lunabba, author of the book ”Will you be sad if I die”. The conference is free and will take place in Malmö on 23 November - come and join us!

The conference is organised by the Meeting Place for Social Innovation (MSI) and the National Network of Coordination Associations (NNS).

In the session How to pave the way for gender equality and equity working life, at the conference Innovative solutions for an inclusive labour market, 23 November, we look at discriminatory structures in the Swedish labour market and share examples of how we can innovatively break these patterns and structures.

We will listen to those who know what makes a difference and what actually increases inclusion. Finally, the speakers will meet in a panel discussion on what this development could look like going forward for an equal, accessible and non-discriminatory labour market.

In the Swedish labour market, we have unequal opportunities to get and keep a job. This problem persists regardless of the economic situation. Among those who find it hardest to get and keep a job are people with little education, people with disabilities, older people and people with a foreign background. Support for the target group exists, but it does not reach everyone by a long shot and is often too complicated and complex in design to make a real difference.
