Last week our process leaders were Hanna Zaid and Ottilia Liljeberg on site during Human Rights Days, where they gave a presentation on the Coordination Association as an innovative force for achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
They highlighted how our work contributes to reducing economic inequality and discrimination, both in the labour market and in society at large. Through collaboration between different actors, we create opportunities for more people to get into work and reach their full potential.
During the days, we also heard from many other stakeholders who provided new knowledge and insights. Discrimination Ombudsman, DO emphasised that racism and discrimination in schools is a major problem that must be taken seriously. Within the framework of the coordinating organisations' activities, we can do a lot to counteract this, for example by increasing knowledge about discrimination and proposing changes. All of our projects and activities are based on the perspectives of equality, gender equality and equal treatment - fundamental values that permeate everything we do.
A big thank you to the organisers for giving us the opportunity to share our
experiences and insights!
