Lecture: Inclusion in the labour market

How do norms and social structures affect our opportunities in the labour market?

Everyone should feel safe and be able to be themselves at work, with equal opportunities to develop and reach their full potential. But how often is this true in practice?

During today's knowledge seminar, we gained valuable insights from Alva Karlsson on Make Equal Culture and Performance AB. She shared practical tools to increase motivation and create greater support for actively working on inclusion in our organisations.

One of the key questions of the day: what are microaggressions?

MICROAGGRESSIONS are everyday actions, words or attitudes based on stereotypes and prejudices - often unconscious, yet harmful. These can be linked to structural inequalities and lead to minority stress.

So, how do we create change? The first step is to expand your toolbox, examining both yourself and your organisation.

A big thank you to Alva and everyone who participated in today's seminar! In our knowledge bank (link) you will find the slideshow and recording for further reflection.
